GLA ARMA is now accepting nominations from the membership.  Each year at the June Awards Banquet, the Greater Los Angeles Chapter of ARMA honors those members and member companies who have made outstanding contributions to our Chapter, to ARMA International, or to the profession.

 

 

Nominations:

YOU, the GLA membership, nominate deserving members and/or companies for:

 

·         Chapter Member of the Year Award

·         Employer of the Year Award

·         William Benedon Professional Achievement Award

 

The GLA Board nominates deserving members for the Rookie of the Year Award.

 

Deadlines:

 

The last day to submit an application or nomination is Thursday, April 30, 2009.

 

Selection Process:

The Board selects the Employer of the Year and Rookie of the Year from the nominations received based on the criteria below. 

 

You, the GLA membership, vote for Chapter Member of the Year.

 

Past recipients select the William Benedon Professional Achievement Award from the nominations received.

ź        Chapter Member of the Year: To recognize the significant contributions to Chapter management, activities and events by a Chapter member during the course of the year.

·         Employer of the Year: To recognize the company or organization of a GLA ARMA member that has supported Chapter activities for its employee member(s), made substantial strides in the development of their Records and Information Management program, and overall contributed to the profession.

·         Rookie of the Year: To honor those new members (with one or two years’ membership) who “jumped in” and made important contributions to the Chapter, in their first or second member year.

·         The William Benedon Professional Achievement Award: The Chapter’s most prestigious award was instituted in 1994 to honor those members who have demonstrated outstanding professionalism and achievement in the field of Records and Information Management during their career(s).
